JR Spray Foam was founded by Jorge Rodriguez, who didn't start his career as a business owner — he started it in the field. Jorge spent his first 10 years as a lead spray foam installer in Orlando, FL learning every aspect of the craft from the inside of homeowner attics and commercial work. As he expanded, he brought that expertise to the Metro Atlanta area over 15 years ago and built his own company from the ground up.
That field experience is the foundation of everything JR Spray Foam does differently. Jorge knows what a properly retrofitted attic looks like because he has installed thousands of them, including one of the ten largest homes in the United States, “Versailles” in Windermere, FL at 90,000 square feet.
He knows what cutting corners looks like because he has seen the aftermath of uncertified installer doing so. And he knows that homeowners deserve the best level of care and expertise that goes into any major home improvement investment.
Today JR Spray Foam LLC serves existing homeowners across 30 North Metro Atlanta counties — specializing in retrofit applications for homes built before spray foam was widely available that deserve to finally perform the way their owners always assumed they would.

Why We Specialize in Existing Homes Instead of New Construction.
New construction insulation is straightforward — a clean empty structure, no occupants, standard installation conditions and we are certainly no stranger to new home construction having worked with many respected home builders in Atlanta. In contrast, retrofitting an existing home while a family is living in it is an entirely different discipline.
It requires understanding how the existing building envelope is performing before touching it. It requires careful removal of old contaminated insulation without disrupting the living space below. It requires air sealing knowledge that goes well beyond simply spraying foam — sealing every penetration, every wire chase, every recessed light fixture, original construction gaps left when a home was built and then covered over by blown in insulation.
These issues must be addressed before foam is applied. And it requires understanding Georgia's mixed-humid climate specifically — how vapor moves through a building in a state where summer humidity is extreme and winter temperature swings are significant.
This is what JR Spray Foam has focused on since coming to Georgia. With multiple UPC Certified Installers we can still service our builders and the new home and commercial markets, while still focusing on existing Metro Atlanta homes and doing what we enjoy, helping the environment, retrofitting preexisting homes, removing old unsanitary insulation, crawlspace encapsulation, and air sealing and doing it correctly to help improve our customers living environments.

Jorge Rodriguez
OWNER & FOUNDER
George Rodriguez founded JR Spray Foam in 2002 and brings 24 years of hands-on polyurethane spray foam experience to every home the company serves in Metro Atlanta.
George is BPI & UPC Certified and conducts the energy audits using our thermal imaging technology, diagnosing exactly where a home is losing energy before any work is recommended.
He returns personally to inspect completed installations before a homeowner signs off on the job.
His experience includes some of the most demanding residential work in the industry, including the Siegel family's Orlando, FL estate, one of the ten largest homes in America, as featured in the documentary The Queen of Versailles.

Michael Collins
MNGR. & CMO
Michael holds a bachelor's and master's degree and brings 40+ years of operations experience, including serving as COO to a large ISO 9001-certified mfg. company with Fortune 100 customers. His background spans implementing TQM & LEAN Mfg. process workflows, developing computer estimating systems, purchasing, vendor relations, and marketing-Sales.
He spent decades as an operations specialist guiding several Mfg. companies back to profitability. He later founded and grew his own spray foam insulation company in the Atlanta area.
Michael now leads marketing, and administrative strategy applying 40+ years of hands-on leadership and operational experience helping JR Spray Foam run smoothly.

CO-FOUNDER, ADMIN. & BI-LINGUAL ASSIST
Katia is a Co-Founder of JR Spray Foam LLC and brings her bi-lingual skills to aide in the companies out reach to the Spanish speaking customer base.
Katia assists in various Administrative duties, Office Management , fielding calls, scheduling and booking energy audits and project install dates.

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSIST.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from the Univ. of Georgia in Sports marketing and has been instrumental in her career as an Experiential Marketing Manager in the automotive industry.
Kim assists in some of the social media activities, monitoring online information flow and Trade Show Activities and outside events.
